I have a rendezvous with Death
At some disputed barricade,
When Spring comes back with rustling shade,

And apple-blossoms fill the air-

We should also make sure to tell younger generations and kids about the sacrifices these servicemen and women made to keep us safe. We express our gratitude through quotes and poems on Veterans Day.
